He installed it in under driven condition (being 6V in 12V driver) but still not green. So far I have covered flashlights to depend on with your life, and flashlights to always have on your person. Zak put it on his wizard and he wrote a review about it. Not as rosy as sw45k for sure but definitely not green. Many of our friends in BLF can confirm about it. It’s as ugly as a sst-20 FB4 from kaidomain (but in more dull )ġ44AM Sm453 E900 R9050 I tested we’re as good as people’s expectation. You are familiar with this emitter, what do you think about that picture?
Armytek wizard pro v2 xml2 full#
It’s greenish and moreover full of dust (?)Ĭlemence? You sell and have tested the 144 CRI90. Here is a close-up to the led through the TIR :

John75 wrote: If I had nothing else to do, I would send this light for CRI testing… I can’t believe it has 90CRI with 50 red… I counter checked with 6 other of my Nichia light (219B and 219C) this Armytek Wizard “Nichia” is the worse of all… The only time that it looks okey, it’s on Turbo 2 ! (which is badly driven compared to the pro XHP50!) 144AM binned at 1400mA and 144AR binned at 700mA. The only difference between 144AM and 144AR is the footprint voltage and test current. 219B 9080 looks “fancy pink” but it is not practical as it cast too much pink on everything.Ĭlemence, do you think the NV4W144AR_Ra9050_5000K is close to the 219C 5000K?Ĭheck my website for Maukka’s spectrum test on 219C D240 R9050 and 144AM E900 R9050.

In fact, I really appreciate the true daylight tint from the 5700k temperature. I have compared the Wizard Nichia with both 219C 90CRI 5000k and 5700k and they look much more neutral than this 144 from Armytek (for another comparison, the XML2 neutral from skillhunt has a better tint than the Armytek Nichia !) In fact, above 5000k, I don’t mind having a hint of green or blue because it’s anyway on the cooler side. So far, I only managed to find a 5000k 90CRI from John75 wrote: lol > 1500 minimum order and lumintronix has no stock (80CRI only) Beside a Hot turbo burst that cannot last, any of my other modded light are as bright as this green 144. With such a greenish tint, the lost of lumens is not worth it. If I had a 144 bin closed to those reviewers one, both my eyes and camera sensors would NEVER see such an amount of green from that flashlight.Īrmytek don’t want to exchange the light (bla-bla, lottery tint) It’s a 90$ flashlight, more expensive than a semi or custom unit from Virence or Emisar. I have modded flashlight with with Nichia bin for more than 15 years… I know how react camera sensors and human eyes. There is not a single hint of green compared to one of the “Best Pinkish famous Tint in Town”. How do you explain that nice tint in this picture ? As soon as I switch it on, all 219B sw45k D220 lights are instantly green. I have a dedomed 219B sw45k D200 behind honeycomb TIR (really an extreme). Seems to be a rule (just for me, that’s how my eyes work) that among two WW/NW LEDs in comparison one is rosy, the other one is greenish. Unheard wrote: Plus, a LED more rosy than the other makes it always look greenish. The new headband clip is great, the switch is much more better than my V2 and V1… Protuberance of the magnetic charging connection makes the light is less stable on vertical surface (90 angle) than the non rechargeable model (but the magnet itself is powerful)Ĭharging stopped around 4.1.V (usb adaptator light is too bright, need to be covered at night, if close to bed) The thing is most of the 80CRI from cree and Nichia looks quite good when pushed above 3A. Overall, the light only looks likes “clean creamy white” on turbo. Or my eyes are spoiled by Nichia’s good oldies, or I really get a shitty bin (!) Yes, I purchased this light because it has high cri, but not a crazy rosy tint like the 219b 9080…īased on all reviews I found online, the tint should be less greenish than the 219C but not as pink as the 219b9080… I am quite disappointed… Even the neutral white XML2 from H03 looks more neutral… My wizard Nichia looks like your 219b… Have your tested it on colours to see if it’s actually high CRI? Looks more like an xhp50… Pavlo wrote: That doesn’t look very good.
